As Beyonce recently became the first Black woman to ever top Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart, a larger conversation about what defines country music has exploded into the zeitgeist.

Produced by the CNN FlashDocs unit, Call Me Country: Beyonce & Nashville's Renaissance examines the impact of how high-profile artists like Lil Nas X and Beyonce are challenging the country music status quo and how Black artists in Nashville have been laying the foundation for this transformation for some time.

The documentary features interviews with banjo player Rhiannon Giddens, John and T.J. Osborne of Brothers Osborne, Rissi Palmer, Aaron Vance, and Denitia.

It also includes analysis from culture and country music experts including Toure, Larisha Paul, Chris Molanphy, Kyle Coroneos, Keith Hill, and Co-Directors of the Black Opry Holly G. and Tanner D.

The annual LadyLand Music Fest is scheduled to take place on June 28 and 29 at Under the K Bridge in Brooklyn, New York. This is the first year since the festival's inauguration that LadyLand is hosted over two days.

Petras will headline the first day with other performances by Slayyyter and HorsegiirL.

Day two will be headlined by Arca and rapper Tokischa. The day will also see performances from Sevdaliza and Bob the Drag Queen behind the console for DJ sets, along with performances from Cakes Da Killa, MJ Nebreda, and LSDXOXO.

General tickets will go on sale on April 23 at 12 p.m. ET. Single-day tickets start at $69, while single-day VIP tickets start at $150. Two-day GA tickets begin at $135 or $295 for VIP.
